在一個安息日，主耶穌醫治了一個生來瞎眼的人，而法利賽人卻定罪祂干犯了安息日。（約九。）主刻意打破安息日的規條，說出神的心意不在於宗教與傳統、形式或儀文，乃在於將祂自己作到人裏面，以產生召會，作祂團體的彰顯。

今天大多數的基督徒注意道理、知識，過於對基督的享受；拘泥於儀文、字句，並對基督的講解，過於對基督的經歷。這違反神在人身上的目的。所以，主要再一次的轉移時代，將人從死的宗教轉到活的基督，從知識道理轉向生命，從儀文字句轉到靈裏，以成就神在人身上的定旨！

本書係李常受弟兄於一九六八年七月二十六至三十日，在臺北所釋放的信息集成，共十篇，前六篇講於上午全臺事奉訓練聚會，後四篇講於晚上全臺特別聚會。
