主耶穌在約翰福音十四章六節明說，『我就是道路、真理、生命；若不藉著我，沒有人能到父那裏去。』神不是把許多件基督以外的事物給我們，神乃是把基督自己給我們。在神的眼中沒有萬有，沒有事和物，只有基督，基督乃是一切屬靈的事物。惟有看見基督就是神賜給我們獨一的一位，能解決我們所有的難處。

神的目的是基督，神的方法也是基督；神是藉著基督而達到基督。到那日，神永遠旨意達到時，基督要將萬有歸在祂裏面而叫萬有同歸於一。這事乃是今日就起頭的，神的兒女今日就得看見並經歷基督是一切。
